"Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck & Smoothies – A Must-Stop Flavor Explosion on the North Shore As we drove along the scenic Kamehameha Highway through Kahuku, the aroma and buzz around the famous Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck pulled us right in—and let me tell you, it absolutely lives up to the hype. We ordered two plates of their legendary garlic shrimp with rice, and wow… we were blown away. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, drenched in buttery garlic goodness, and packed with flavor. Each plate came with generous portions—plenty to share with our family of four, and not a single bite was wasted. Right next to the shrimp truck was Giovanni’s Smoothies and Shave Ice Truck, and we couldn’t resist cooling off with a couple of their refreshing smoothies. We chose: • Coconut & Pineapple – tropical, creamy, and super refreshing • Coconut & Banana – rich, smooth, and just sweet enough Both smoothies were delicious and made the perfect pairing after the savory shrimp. This stop is a must if you’re doing a food crawl or a Circle Island Tour. Whether you’re a foodie or just hungry from a beach day, Giovanni’s is an iconic experience that brings local flavor and aloha spirit in every bite and sip. Don’t just hear about the rave—live it.
